The Quality Assurance (QA) team at TEMCO is here to ensure that our customer has complete satisfaction. We accomplish this through careful examination of customer requirements - how they fit within the TEMCO manufacturing processes and within our Quality System. All areas of concern are addressed with our customer to assure mutual satisfaction.

Our initial ISO Certification process was completed late in 1998. The Electric Materials Company has also completed the re-registration process to the latest ISO 9001:2000 Standard.  Other new happenings within QA:

Our efforts towards Continuous Improvement have decreased customer complaints and improved on-time delivery.

We have built a new Metrology Lab, including a Direct Computer Control Co-Ordinate Measuring Machine (DCC-CMM).

Our Metallurgy/Chemistry Spectrograph (used for elemental analysis) laboratory has updated its computer system to include state of the art technology and communications.

Our Quality Documentation and company-wide training matrices are on-line and computer driven. Databases are established for internal/external non-conformances, audits and cause/corrective actions. Even our Suppliers are evaluated within the confines of a Purchasing Database.
